It happens occasionally. I see a title that captivates me in a way that most don’t. Even if it’s outside my usual genres, I can’t resist opening it up and seeing what follows. It’s a rare thing that I haven’t enjoyed what’s behind the title, even if it wasn’t what I expected.

Fall cleaning had me pulling these off the bookshelves this morning. That same resonance happened again, even though I know what lies beneath and behind them. Why is that? Instead of diving back into the book behind the title, I’m going to explore the title phrase.
