Poetry: Living Large In Words

The tomatoes are many and green, teardrops of ripening fruit barely visible among the leaves. Osprey glide over the river, grace of movement on the wing and the stillness of statues on branch and in the nest. Finding beauty requires no effort on my part, but expressing that beauty can be an exercise in simplicity and truth. That’s where poetry comes in. How else to offer a glimpse of today’s graceful epiphanies? Who knows what gems such words will offer – and who knows what words today’s miracles will inspire?
