At My Feet

Spring is the time to widen my perspective – taking a panoramic look, for instance, will reveal the daily changes on the mountains I see from my windows at home and in the car. The grand scale is humbling and life affirming.

But there’s another way to change my perspective: to take a closer look at what is usually too small to capture my attention. There is so much to see at first glance that taking a good second look doesn’t always happen. But this year, with all the chaos and uncertainty, I’m going to get up close, get down on the ground, and really seek out nature’s beauty and wisdom that so often I overlook…
